US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce March 2024 Nearshoring-Trade Summit Dallas, TX
The Presentation of the 2024 Action Plan of the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce (USMCOC), Chihuahua Chapter took place on February 7th, 2024, in Chihuahua City, Chihuahua, México. Luis Holling, President of the Chapter, accompanied by José Holling, cordially welcomed esteemed members of the Chihuahua business community. Their purpose was to unveil the agenda that will be led by the establishment of the Chamber’s new office of representation in the region.
As part of the Chihuahua Chapter’s initiatives, a highlight is the creation of the Programa Internacional de Alta Dirección para Líderes Empresariales de Norteamérica (“International Executive Program for North American Business Leaders”), a joint initiative between Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City, and the Chihuahua Chapter of the USMCOC. The meeting served to formalize one of the Chapter’s inaugural strategic programmes, marking a significant milestone in the array of projects the new office aims to provide to its members. This innovative program has been tailor-made for the business leaders of Chihuahua, addressing their interests and specific needs, which will unarguably represent a significant milestone in their local and international development. The alliance with Universidad Iberoamericana represents just the beginning of the comprehensive agenda the Chapter plans to offer, demonstrating its commitment to delivering impactful opportunities for its members in the region.
The meeting was attended by Mtra. Erika Enríquez Montaut, Director of Continuing Education, and Dra. Aribel Contreras, Coordinator of the Global Business Program, who led the collaboration project on behalf of Universidad Iberoamericana. Additionally, General Albert C. Zapanta, President of the USMCOC, participated in the event as an Honorary Witness, and a collaboration agreement (MoU) was signed between the Chihuahua Chapter and the Universidad Iberoamericana. Prominent members of the region’s economic community were also present.
